ზევიდან გიცქერ, ჭაო, სიცოცხლის, რამდენს მიჰგვარე სიამე, შვება, რამდენი მორწყე, ალბათ, მინდორი, უშენოდ, წყალო, სიცოცხლე შრება. ცხოვრების მორევს რომ მისცეს თავი, რამდენს შეჰყრია ბედკრულებს სნება, მაგრამ იგემეს რა შენი წყალი, მათი კურნება, - უფლის არს ნება. თვალებში გიცქერ, კამკამებს წყალი, გავსებ შუქით და დამალვას ვცდილობ, თუ ანარეკლი იპოვეს მთვარის, ჭამ ჩაყლაპაო, იტყვიან, ვფიქრობ. როგორც ზღაპარში, შენგან მიხსნიან. ჭად დატყვევებულ პირიმზე მნათობს, მაგრამ ბეჩავთა როდი იციან, რომ ცაში ყოფნაც არ მინდა მარტო. I look into your eyes! I gaze upon you from above, well of life, You have brought so many joys and reliefs, You are watering ravines and fields, With your caring nature, I feel saved. If they surrendered to life's whirlwind, How many unfortunates have fallen ill? Yet, by tasting your almighty water-dripps, They shall be healed, if the Lord wills it. I look into your eyes, sparkling and bright, I fill it with light and seek to hide from sight. If they glimpse the moon's reflection in the glow, They'll say a well has claimed me, deep below. They'll rescue me, like in fairy tales, The deity, captured and kept in the well, But the wretched —how can they guess I don't want to stay alone even in heaven. 4.10.2024
